The very first thing we'll ask of you is simple: relax.

You don't have to dress up. We don't care who you voted for in the last election. And please, don't feel the need to pretend about anything. No matter what your spiritual background or past, we want you to come as you are because that's where God meets us - as is. From there, we'll help each other grow to be all God intended us to be. If you are new to Kent Disciples, we know there’s nothing quite like visiting a new church for the first time; the new faces, strange places, and that feeling that you stand out. Please know that: ONE, you’re not alone—we have all been there, and we’re better as a community because you’re here. And TWO, we as a church body want to be a place where you feel welcome and at ease. If there's anything that we can do to help you feel at home, please let us know.

During both worship services we have childcare available for children from ages 0-3. For children age 4 through 4th grade we have an age appropriate worship service available during the worship service called Worship & Wonder. Children are escorted out of the larger worship prior at the sermon time. If you or your children are more comfortable staying in 'big church' that is ok too. We are a multigenerational congregation that embraces people of all ages and sizes!

You see, what we want everyone to discover is that we are each a child of God and you will be treated that way.
